Hello, I’m Hannah
I am a dedicated and professional sports therapist, health and exercise coach. I have dedicated myself to enhancing the lives of others through helping people improve performance and reduce stress through a connective and integrative approach to physical therapy and injury prevention.
I specialise in helping athletes enhance their performance, prevent and recover from injury with the use of movement therapy, muscle activation, sports and remedial massage, bodywork and myofascial release, trigger point therapy, facilitated stretching and exercise coaching.
Alongside this, I am passionate about helping members of the public suffering from chronic pain, postural imbalances, dysfunctional movement patterns, stress and injury. I also deliver functional movement training, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, nutrition and weight management.
Throughout my career, I have delivered sports therapy internationally throughout the UK, Europe and Asia. I work with professional and amateur athletes across a range of sporting environments. These include, mountain biking, road cycling, marathon and trail running, skiing, snowboarding, surfing, martial arts, rugby, Parkour and dance.
I am passionate about helping athletes get the most out of their bodies to maximise their performance in sport. I pride myself on delivering top level athlete support which works with the uniqueness of each athlete and provides an integrated approach to physical therapy. I provide athletes with sports therapy based on a deep understanding of techniques from specialists in the field of bodywork, muscle activation, applied movement neurology, movement coaching, strength and conditioning and nutrition.
In addition to my clinics, I specialise in providing professional sports therapy and dedicated team support internationally, for a world-class, professional mountain bike team.
During my 10-year career as a sports therapist, I spent considerable time in Asia, exploring and researching various approaches to physical therapy in Sri Lanka, India, Japan and South Korea. This taught me the value of both western and eastern lifestyle and health practises and has helped me blend the best from both cultures into my practice.
I hold a BSc in Sports Therapy and trained professionally in the UK. In addition, I hold various professional training qualifications including muscle activation techniques, Pilates and personal training. I also gained a yoga teacher training qualification from a prestigious yoga school in North India where I also spent a considerable time training in mindfulness, meditation and philosophy.
I founded Trailside as a way to provide you with specialist techniques to assist you in getting the most out of your body and sport, gain control and revolutionise your health, your energy and your quality of life.
I am an adventurer, I love to travel, research, practise yoga, ride bikes, climb mountains, surf, snowboard and dance.
